The southern border of Israel starts with the brook Zered at
the southern tip of the Dead Sea, goes down around the Negeb bordering Edom and
Arabah and follows the W. el-Arish river and from there it runs all the way up
the Mediterranean coast, including Gaza and Tyre, all the way up to the Leontes river
on the north and over to Mt Hermon on the east, including Ramoth-gilead and
Aroer, down to the Arnon river where Moab borders the Dead Sea. All this land belongs to Israel - ALL of it!
2012 was a year of devastation and heartbreak, with more to come, but you can be prepared to survive it and come out on top of the game! Rule number ONE in survival 101 is Get God and NEVER let Him go. Let me help you with that. Keep reading.

SUPREMACY - BASED ON A TRUE STORY
No respectable Christian will watch
this movie because it is filled with violence, filthy disgusting language and
cursing from beginning to almost the very end. I, however, am not a respectable
Christian. I rather stand with the Apostle Paul in his view of Christianity.
“We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are prudent in Christ; we are weak,
but you are strong; you are distinguished, but we are without honor.”
1Corinthians 4:10
I am therefore able to give you the
run down on this amazing movie, described by Genre as a ‘Psychological Thriller’
on its facebook page.
The main character, played by Joe
Anderson, is a very troubled and violent young man who gets out of prison and
he is riding in a truck with his arm out the window, feeling the freedom of the
wind with his hand. Looking around at the scenery, he makes a comment about the
goodness of the world in a way that brings to mind God’s first impression of it
as recorded in Genesis chapter 1.
Everything really takes a turn for
the worse when he kills a policeman in a routine traffic stop and unleashes his
inner beast. Fleeing from police pursuit, he ends up at a house where
Mr. Walker, played by Danny Glover, lives and where the greatest exchange of
the movie begins.
Mr. Walker, also an ex-convict,
prides himself on his ability to win a battle with his intellect and with his
mind. He continues to work on the violent, abusive, cursing young man by suggesting
to him all the ways in which they are alike and have in common such as ‘no
affection for cops’.
In one of their conversations, he
discovers that the young man has been recruited by a white supremacy group that
rules from the prison he was in, and that he considers the leader of that group
to be the savior who has given him a purpose for his life, a purpose he
says he will never be willing to give up.
That would seem to be the end of
their unlikely relationship until the house is surrounded by police, and in
their last conversation, with the young man’s gun to his face, Mr. Walker
professing no fear, berates him thoroughly by making him face up to who he
really is and that’s when something so unexpected happens that should cause
anyone to agree that Jesus has walked into the room.
After the angry young man sticks
his revolver into Mr. Walker’s mouth in a last ditch effort to strike fear into
him he changes his mind and falls down on the floor across the room in a
pathetic heap. Crying and sobbing, he places the revolver in his own mouth. You
are never sure if he will pull the trigger or not right up until Mr. Walker
timidly approaches him and pulls the gun out of his mouth at which time the
young man with tears of repentance, receives possibly the only genuine hug
he has ever had.
I’m not going to encourage you to
watch this movie, but I’ll save the very end for those of you who will. May the
grace, mercy and compassion of Christ be with you and guide you in all your
ways. To God be the glory and honor and praise forever and ever and ever! Amen. Hallelujah!

Weather Warning!
Mr. President, here is your peace accord: "The
towns from Ekron to Gath that the Philistines had captured from Israel
were restored to Israel, and Israel delivered the neighboring territory
from the hands of the Philistines. And there was peace between Israel
and the Amorites." 1 Samuel 7:14
The 1st picture is Israel today; the 2nd picture is Israel as God intended.
Do you want peace? Obey God! Weather Warning! Do you want the earth to be at peace with you? Obey God!

Every American Needs to See This Movie!
The Butler
is a comprehensive collection and overview of the condition of our nation
before, during and after the Civil Rights Movement. A young boy witnesses the
murder of his father on a cotton plantation. Then he is taken in by the murderer's
grandmother and learns how to become a house servant. She also gives him a book
and he learns how to read. When he is a teenager, she tells him to leave the
plantation and get away to save his life.
One night on his journey, he walks past a hotel pastry shop
and out of hunger, he breaks the window. He is sitting in there eating a cake
when the man in charge finds him, bandages his hand and ends up hiring him as a
maître d'. He begins to be noticed and requested by important people until he
reaches Washington DC and ultimately becomes part of the White
House staff, where his character is played by Forest Whitaker.
He serves under 6 Presidents starting with Dwight D
Eisenhower, and acquires a certain amount of knowledge regarding the White
House and the people who come and go. He is content with and devoted to his
job, so much so that his wife, played by Oprah, almost leaves him.
Most of the stress of the movie is a result of his son,
played by David Oyelowo, who goes back down South to attend a University in Tennessee, where he
becomes embroiled in the Civil Rights Movement, on several occasions, almost to
the exclusion of his life.
While Forest Whitaker’s character struggles to deal with
racial injustice at the White House, including but not limited to his paycheck;
he hates that his son has gone back to where he started, to be at the mercy of
foes such as the Ku Klux Klan.
The wonder of the movie occurs when Barack Obama becomes
President and the father has an occasion to see the bigger picture and
comes to the realization that his son’s heroics were not all in
vain.
This is a story of triumph, not only for African Americans,
but for every American who still believes in “equality for all”.

When is a Good Time to Tell Someone About Jesus?
If
you tried to talk to Robin Williams about the condition of his soul and
where he would spend eternity he would certainly have 'joked you into
the ground'. It was his response to life. But Robin Williams needed
Jesus. He needed a Savior with a capital S. Do you know someone who is
smarter than you? and richer than you? and wittier than you? Tell them
about Jesus and His great love, His great burden removing, yoke
destroying love. If they listen, you've won a soul. If they don't,
you've saved your own.

My Little Chickadee
The Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus in the form of a dove when He was baptized. Sometimes it's almost like He has descended upon me in the form of a sparrow, hallelujah.
My first angelic encounter with the little winged wonders of creation occurred some time before I made Jesus my Lord and was born again. I can’t say to the day when the little sparrow came into my furnace, but I know it was fall, because it was getting chilly; which is why I flipped the nearby switch on the wall and went out to the living room to adjust the thermostat. Just as I did that there was a whooshing sound and rustling coming from down the hallway. I had to take off the front panel and remove the blower motor to get that cute little guy out of there. When I think about it now I’m surprised that it so easily let me pick it up and that it stayed so calmly in my hand until I opened the back door and released it.
I put the blower motor back on the furnace, replaced the front panel, flipped the switch, and headed for the living room to once again set the thermostat; but just before I got it within firing range I heard that same whooshing and rustling sound again. I turned the thermostat back down.
That’s when my husband started to pay attention because I shouted, “What in the world is that bird doing back in the furnace?!!!”
I went down the hallway, took the front panel off, removed the blower motor and gently picked up the little bird from inside the furnace and this time, I went all the way around to the front door and released it. I went back down the hallway, put the blower motor back on, replaced the front panel, flipped the switch, and went back out to the living room to set the thermostat. I felt the click; I heard the familiar rumble signaling that the furnace was getting ready to fire up. Then I heard another sound that was becoming familiar ‒ it was a whoosh and a flutter.
I shouted at my husband, “I CANNOT believe it. That bird went right back up there and right back down into the furnace!”
I turned the thermostat back down, went down the hallway, flipped the switch, removed the front panel and took out the blower motor; but this time it was way down inside, rustling around at the bottom of the furnace and there was no way I could reach it.
Sometimes I’m not the quickest person in the world, but even though I wasn’t saved, I read the Bible almost every day. I remembered Jesus talking about sparrows (Matthew 10:29) and he said, “…one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.”
So I prayed a silent prayer to God, “If you will just get that bird to come up out of there, I promise, I won’t turn the furnace on.” Why I prayed that, I don’t know; for some reason, it seemed appropriate.
Then an incredible thing happened ‒ that little grey bird came hopping up out of that furnace all by itself! It hopped up onto the furnace ledge and hopped down onto the floor. It was all smoky, and its little tail feathers were almost totally burned off. I picked it up, cuddling it as gently as I could, wrapping it in a towel. “I’m sorry little birdie.” I said, “I’m so sorry.” and set it carefully in a box in the middle bedroom. It stayed there quietly until the next morning. When the repair men I called came to look at the furnace it had gone on to its reward, hallelujah.
And oh, by the way, if I had been successful in turning on the furnace, it would have blown us up. There was a gas valve sticking out an inch or so on the side of the furnace and according to the repair men, it was damaged or loose somehow, probably by us moving furniture down the hallway or something or other, and if that furnace had started running it would have blown our house up!
We lived in that mobile home for twenty years and never before or after that time did we ever have a bird come in through the furnace vent.
If you knew how many times God has saved your life, how amazed you would be! Which brings me to the heart of my story, “Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.” Hallelujah!
That’s actually just the beginning of the ‘birds of my life’. When we moved to our house there were two beautiful pigeons on the roof. I think they were love birds, hallelujah. I didn’t see them again until just before we moved. One of them was perched on the basketball hoop that was next to the house near our driveway. It seemed so close, almost within arm’s reach as I looked up and spoke ‘pretty bird words’ to it. I was so amazed when, instead of flying away, it side-stepped all the way around the hoop until it was right above me and seemed to be really paying attention; and not only that, but the other one came over to the edge of the roof and peered down at me with just as much interest!
After we moved to our new apartment I was in the kitchen doing dishes one day and I was crying because we had lost the house and because of a host of other reasons; feeling very much let down because of all the things I had been expecting God to do for me. When suddenly I turned around and there was a flock of little birds, I’m almost sure were Chickadees, trying to stand on the window ledge and the air-conditioner that was next to it, and it was almost like they were trying to get in. It seemed so ridiculous to me because they must have stayed there for fifteen minutes, vying for a spot on the ledge, and totally ignoring me though I was right there staring at them. God used those little birds to remind me, hallelujah.
I was feeling seriously sorry for myself and depressed and weepy one day when I went out to hang clothes on the line, not because I had to hang clothes on the line, I love to do that; but because of my family not being together. Suddenly, there was a loud whooshing noise, like something big and heavy falling into the center of a small patch of weeds, that I think used to be a garden, near my clothes lines. I had to stop what I was doing and stare in amazement at the patch of weeds, waiting to see if I could tell what it was... or run!
Maybe I’m finally getting kind of used to God speaking to me in the way that He does, in the way that only He can, because I wasn’t as amazed as I probably should have been when I saw Robins come marching out of the center of that patch of weeds. I don’t know how many there were because it all seemed so surreal; there could have been 10 or 20 of them. They marched off in all directions, but two of them marched right up to me, and one just kept coming, and kept looking right at me. I looked right back at it and said, “Okay.” It still stayed right there, walking back and forth and looking right up at me, so I said, “Okay, Lord, I get it… okay.” and tears of relief filled my eyes. I knew my God hadn’t forgotten me; and I’ll never forget how that flock of Robins hanged around me all the time I was out there that day, hallelujah.
And this is my prayer for you that you may be able to see in unmistakable ways, how God has not forgotten you, my friend, in Jesus name. Amen. Hallelujah!
